Rehydration

In view of the problems with vomiting and the dehydration, intravenous fluids are indicated.

Modern thinking is that rehydration can be administered over a relatively short period and let us aim to correct fluid balance over the next 12 hours. If we assume a constant rate of fluid administration over the 12 hours how fast should the fluid be given:
