Management of Acute Renal Failure in Children

This teaching activity has interactive elements to help understand the different aspects of acute renal failure (ARF) in children. It is hoped that working through the program will reinforce aspects of the topic, as well as introducing additional information. There are two different exercises:

The first consists of questions with true or false responses followed by explanations. To start this exercises click here.

The second consists of two case studies of children with ARF which can be accessed at the end of the first exercise or by clicking on the links below:

There is also a handout you might find useful. This can be downloaded in WORD format by clicking here.

If you have any queries or comments about the teaching program please contact Dr Graham Smith at smithgc@cardiff.ac.uk. In particular if there are technical problems with the program eg the links don't work or go to the wrong place please let me know.

As well as being able to e mail me your feedback I have also included a questionnaire which can be downloaded by clicking here and then printed off and returned anonymously. Please send me your comments.
